New Jersey Pre-K Teacher Qualifications are:
- Lead teacher must hold a bachelor’s degree and, at a minimum, a Certificate of Eligibility or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing for Preschool through Grade Three certification or other equivalent preschool certification.
- Assistant teacher, at a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Substitute teacher, at a minimum, must hold a substitute credential. The District will make available a substitute teacher list
