We are looking for candidates who: 

-have experience working with children ages 5-8

-have a passion for working with young children

-have knowledge of childhood development 

-are collaborative team players

Job Responsibilities:

-assist the head teacher in preparing lesson plans and preparing materials/supplies for activities

-if the head teacher is absent, collaborate with the substitute in implementing the planned daily lesson

-assist the head teacher, as necessary, with managing small group lessons and learning activities

-assist the head teacher with monitoring children’s progress throughout the year through observations and assessments

-when needed, communicate professionally with parents/families regarding their child

-ensure safety on the playground and indoor play spaces through active supervision

-collaborate with other teachers to help support other classrooms as necessary
