The Position
You will report directly to the Controller/Finance Director and be responsible for maintaining our accounting functions. This is a key role that helps the Accounting Team on performing diverse scope of duties that include but not limited to Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, bank reconciliation and internal process improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Your primary responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Assist with Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables management.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Support the team in financial data entry and record-keeping.
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives.
- Help prepare financial reports and documentation for review.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with financial data accurately.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent Spanish and at least 1 year of experience in related role (asset)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, accounting software, or ERP systems (asset)
- Graduating within 6 months (asset)
