VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Dual Language Early Childhood teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year.
JOB SUMMARY: The teacher is responsible to the Building Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of preschoolers at risk with a wide range of needs and abilities; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure with Early Childhood endorsement and Early Childhood Special Education Approval
- Bilingual and ELL Endorsement
- Spanish speaking
- Experience working in a blended classroom with at risk and special needs students
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Assessment preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and the Illinois Early Learning Development Standard
- Ability to provide help in modifying instructional materials for students assigned
- Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, and parents
PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE:
Salary is in accordance with the teacher salary schedule.
