Responsibilities:

Our primary manufacturing internship opportunities are located in the scenic town of Waterford, NY and the welcoming community of Friendly, WV, with potential openings at our Garrett, IN site as well. Each location offers a hands-on experience in a dynamic, team-driven environment—perfect for launching your career in manufacturing.

What you will do:

As a Manufacturing Intern, you may be tasked with projects in a number of areas, including but not limited to:

  • Reliability: Enhance the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes to help reduce downtime and operational costs.
  • Project Engineering: Lead small capital investment projects at a manufacturing site from design through commissioning, while supporting larger projects alongside the project engineering team.
  • Production/Process Engineering: Dive into key aspects of our production processes, focusing on tasks like tracking and reducing waste, managing packaging expansions, and boosting system efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline.

Program Requirements:

  • The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
  • The candidate is expected to be available to work in person 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and August.
