Documentary Distribution and Marketing Internship

Position Overview: This is a unique opportunity to learn about documentary marketing and distribution. You will gain exposure to the inner workings of the business and will work directly with the director and producer of the film, An Unquiet Mind. Ideal for students or early-career professionals passionate about independent cinema, social impact storytelling, and digital marketing.

The internship is designed to provide hands-on educational experience in real-world documentary marketing and distribution workflows, while complementing academic studies. The intern will receive regular mentorship, feedback, and structured guidance from the director and producer, ensuring a rich learning environment that goes beyond simple administrative tasks.

The position does not displace existing paid employees; instead, it allows students to explore the intersection of documentary filmmaking, marketing strategy, and distribution pathways in a live project setting. Whenever possible, we are happy to coordinate with academic advisors to ensure that students can receive course credit.
